Stuffed Grape Leaves (Yaprak Sarma) Ingredients: 250 g ground meat 1 onion, finely chopped 1 cup rice 1 cup fine bulgur (for meatballs) 1 tomato, grated 1 tablespoon tomato paste Spices (optional): black pepper, dried mint, red pepper flakes A pinch of parsley, chopped Grape leaves 2 tablespoons olive oil For the sauce: 1 tablespoon tomato paste 3 cups water Butter Instructions: In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, chopped onion, rice, bulgur, grated tomato, tomato paste, spices, and parsley. Mix everything thoroughly. Lay out the grape leaves. Place about 1 teaspoon of the filling onto each leaf. Fold the sides inward and roll tightly into a cylindrical shape. Arrange the stuffed grape leaves snugly in a pot. In a separate pan, melt some butter and mix it with 1 tablespoon of tomato paste.
